Written for the workplace, not for the statute book alone
MFMA training is often aimed at finance. Irregular expenditure is often created by everyone else: a verbal instruction to a supplier, a split quote, a gift accepted during a tender. This course is the staff layer of municipal finance law.
Learners get unauthorised, irregular and fruitless expenditure as recognition, not as journal entries. They get a hard line on emergency procurement as a rare path, not a personality trait. Bid committees are pointed at the competition and gifts titles rather than a full SCM qualification.
It will not teach GRAP, and it will not replace National Treasury’s own circulars for specialists. Generate from the MFMA, selected circulars, and your SCM policy in Kre8AI so thresholds and committee names match the municipality.
