Kre8AI
Use case

The policy changed in March. The training still says what it said in 2023.

Compliance courses are the ones most tightly bound to a document, which makes them the slowest to update and the most damaging when they are wrong. They are also the ones Kre8AI is built for, because the source document is the whole point.

The problem

Why this particular course is painful

The policy moves faster than the course

A clause changes, the policy is reissued, and updating the course means finding the affected slides, rewriting them, re-recording narration and pushing it through review again. So it waits.

You have to be able to defend every line

When something goes wrong, the question is what the training said and who approved it. A course whose provenance you cannot reconstruct is a liability in exactly the moment it matters.

Nobody wants to build it

Mandatory training is the least interesting work in the L&D queue and the most consequential to get wrong, which is a poor combination for anyone's Tuesday.
What changes

How Kre8AI handles it

Every slide names its clause

Content is generated from the policy you uploaded and cites the document, the page range and the excerpt, with a confidence score. Your compliance officer checks the source rather than taking your word for it.

Re-issue the course when the policy is re-issued

Upload the updated document and generate a new course version. The earlier version and its approvals stay intact, so you can show what the training said at any point in time.

Sign-off is part of the workflow, not a side conversation

Route the course for audit-logged compliance sign-off. Publishing is blocked until every module is approved, and the record survives the person who approved it.
South African context

The rules you are actually training against

We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice. Check your obligations with someone who is.

POPIA

Privacy obligations touch every organisation that processes personal information, and the training has to keep pace with how your processing actually works rather than restating the Act. Kre8AI builds from your internal privacy policy and procedures, so the course reflects your practice.

B-BBEE skills development

Training spend is a scorecard line item, which means the budget exists but has to be defensibly spent and reported. Every Kre8AI course carries an instructional design pack and an authoring audit trail, so the documentation is a by-product rather than a separate project.

SETA reporting and Workplace Skills Plans

Reporting requires evidence of what was delivered and to whom. Completion and score data go to your LMS as normal, and the course-side record of what was built and who approved it lives in Kre8AI.

Sector regulation

FAIS and FSCA requirements in financial services, the Mine Health and Safety Act in mining, and the OHS Act across the board all generate mandatory training tied to specific documents. The tighter the tie to a document, the better this fits.

Straight answers

Questions we get about this

Can Kre8AI write the policy as well?
No, and it should not. Kre8AI turns a policy you have written and approved into training. If the policy itself is out of date, fix that first, because the course will faithfully reflect whatever you give it.
What if the policy contradicts itself?
The briefing step surfaces gaps and ambiguities in your sources before generation starts, which in practice is one of the more useful side effects. You will occasionally find out your policy has a problem.
How do we prove the training was current at a point in time?
Course versions preserve the history. The version that was live when an incident occurred, and the approvals attached to it, remain available.
Does the course include an assessment?
Yes. Scored questions in four formats, with a configurable pass mark defaulting to 80 percent, and completion certificates generated against it.
