Build AI courses for TalentLMS

TalentLMS is usually chosen by a small team that needs training live quickly, which is exactly the team that has no time to write it. Kre8AI turns the documents you already have into the course, and TalentLMS delivers it.

TalentLMS reads: SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI and cmi5 as course units.
Step one

Build the course, then export it

The course is built from your own documents and cannot be published until a person has approved it. What you end up with is a single zip file.

    Finish review and approve every module

    Publishing stays locked until each module is approved. That is deliberate: the export is the point where the course stops being a draft, and the audit trail records who approved what and when.

    Choose your package format

    SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 4th edition, xAPI, cmi5, or a standalone HTML file that runs with no platform at all.

    Download the zip

    One file, containing the course, its media, the manifest your LMS reads and the tracking bridge that reports progress back.

    Do not unzip it and do not rezip the extracted folder. An LMS reads the manifest at the root of the archive, and rezipping usually buries it one directory down.

Which format for TalentLMS

SCORM 1.2. It is the most reliable option in TalentLMS and reports the completion and score the built-in reports are designed around.

xAPI and cmi5 ship as packaging. The player wires the SCORM tracking bridge rather than streaming live statements to an LRS, so if your reporting depends on a live statement flow, raise it before you start.

Step two

Import it into TalentLMS

The same package works in every platform that reads SCORM. These are the steps in TalentLMS's own vocabulary.

    Open or create the course

    In TalentLMS, content is added to a course as units. The Kre8AI export becomes one unit.

    Add content and choose SCORM

    Add a unit and pick the SCORM, xAPI or cmi5 option rather than a document or presentation unit.

    Upload the zip

    Upload the package and let TalentLMS process it. It reads the manifest and registers the unit.

    Set completion and order the units

    Choose what completion means for the unit and place it in the right position in the course. If the course is compliance training, also decide whether learners can skip ahead.

Which source document and page each statement came from, the excerpt behind it, a confidence score, who approved each module and every AI-assisted action. An LMS proves somebody completed training. This proves the training was right.

Before you roll it out

What catches people out in TalentLMS

File size caps bite here

A narrated course with generated imagery and avatar video is not a small file, and TalentLMS enforces an upload cap that depends on your plan. If the upload fails, check that before assuming the package is broken.

Unit completion drives course completion

Course completion in TalentLMS is assembled from unit rules. Set the unit rule deliberately, or your completion report will be measuring whether people opened something.

Two certificates is a common mess

Kre8AI can issue a certificate inside the course and TalentLMS can issue one for the course. Pick one, or learners get two documents that disagree.

We have nobody who knows instructional design. Is this realistic?
That is who the product is for. Kre8AI proposes the structure and learning objectives and shows its reasoning before anything is written, so the judgement you need to supply is about your organisation rather than about learning theory. You still decide what matters and approve it.
How long does one course actually take?
The generation is not the slow part; your review is, and it should be. The honest way to find out is a scoping call with one of your real documents, where we will tell you what Kre8AI would produce from it.
Can I try the package first?
Yes. The sample SCORM package on the site loads into TalentLMS the same way a real course would.
