Build AI courses for Litmos

Litmos is built for getting training out quickly across a distributed workforce. Kre8AI is built for producing something worth distributing, from the documents your organisation already has, with every claim traceable.

Litmos reads: SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, AICC and xAPI content within a course.
Step one

Build the course, then export it

The course is built from your own documents and cannot be published until a person has approved it. What you end up with is a single zip file.

    Finish review and approve every module

    Publishing stays locked until each module is approved. That is deliberate: the export is the point where the course stops being a draft, and the audit trail records who approved what and when.

    Choose your package format

    SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 4th edition, xAPI, cmi5, or a standalone HTML file that runs with no platform at all.

    Download the zip

    One file, containing the course, its media, the manifest your LMS reads and the tracking bridge that reports progress back.

    Do not unzip it and do not rezip the extracted folder. An LMS reads the manifest at the root of the archive, and rezipping usually buries it one directory down.

Which format for Litmos

SCORM 1.2 for the most predictable behaviour in the Litmos player, moving to SCORM 2004 4th edition only if you need its completion states.

xAPI and cmi5 ship as packaging. The player wires the SCORM tracking bridge rather than streaming live statements to an LRS, so if your reporting depends on a live statement flow, raise it before you start.

Step two

Import it into Litmos

The same package works in every platform that reads SCORM. These are the steps in Litmos's own vocabulary.

    Open or create the Litmos course

    Content in Litmos lives inside a course as modules. The Kre8AI export becomes one module.

    Add content of type SCORM

    Add content to the course and choose the SCORM option rather than a document, video or built-in quiz.

    Upload the package

    Upload the zip and let Litmos process it. Larger narrated courses take a moment to unpack.

    Set completion, then test it

    Decide what completion means for the module, then complete it once as a test learner and confirm the result appears in reporting before assigning it to anybody.

Which source document and page each statement came from, the excerpt behind it, a confidence score, who approved each module and every AI-assisted action. An LMS proves somebody completed training. This proves the training was right.

What catches people out in Litmos

Check it on the device people use

Litmos is often deployed to a workforce that is not sitting at a desk. Run the course on a phone before you roll it out, particularly if it is narrated, and think about the data cost of the media you generated.

Two assessment engines, one decision

Litmos has its own quiz builder and the Kre8AI course carries its own assessments. Decide which one is authoritative before you build the reporting on top of it.

Assignment is what makes it real

A module inside a course is not training anybody until the course is assigned to a team or learning path. That is a separate step and it is the usual reason a course looks like it never went live.

Does Kre8AI plug into Litmos directly?
The route on this page is the package route: export SCORM from Kre8AI, upload it to Litmos. It requires nothing connected between the two, which is also what keeps your content yours if you ever change platform.
Our training has to be defensible. What does Kre8AI add?
Every generated statement carries the source document, the page range or media timestamp, the excerpt it was built from and a confidence score. Publishing is blocked until a reviewer approves each module, and the audit trail records who did what. Litmos records delivery; Kre8AI records provenance.
What about content in more than one language?
Courses can be produced in another language with narration regenerated in that locale. Which languages are worth doing depends on your workforce, so raise it early in a scoping call rather than after the first course is signed off.
