Your onboarding is one person, repeating themselves, forever.
Most induction knowledge lives in a handbook nobody reads and in the head of whoever has been there longest. Both are already documented well enough to build from: the handbook is a document, and the walkthrough is a recording waiting to be made.
Why this particular course is painful
It does not scale past one person
The handbook is not training
Every department wants its own version
How Kre8AI handles it
Record the walkthrough once
Build variants from one spine
Find out whether it landed
The rules you are actually training against
We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice. Check your obligations with someone who is.
Induction as a legal obligation
The Occupational Health and Safety Act requires that employees are informed about hazards and safe working procedures. Where induction carries that content, the record of what was delivered and who completed it matters as much as the delivery.
Skills development reporting
Structured induction that produces completion records contributes to the training evidence you already have to report, rather than sitting outside it as untracked informal delivery.
High-turnover and seasonal intake
Where you onboard in waves, the cost of live delivery scales linearly with headcount and the quality drifts. A course does not.
Multi-site operations
Standalone HTML export means a site with poor connectivity can run the induction locally, and a contractor without an LMS account can still complete it.
Questions we get about this
We do not have written material, just people who know things.
Can new starters do it before their first day?
How do we keep it current as the company changes?
Can it include a presenter?
