Kre8AI
For the one-person L&D team

You are the entire learning function. The backlog was scoped for five of you.

Kre8AI turns the documents you already have into a first draft you can actually check: an outline you approve before anything is written, and every slide carrying the page it came from.

The average L&D team is 63 people. The most common one is you.

ATD surveyed 539 organisations for its 2025 State of the Industry. The mean talent development team was 63 people and the median was 14, which are the numbers that get quoted. The single most common answer was one.

That person often did not train as an instructional designer. They were given training to run because they knew the subject, or because it landed in their department, and they have been holding it together since. Every vendor in this category writes for a team with a designer, a developer and a reviewer. Almost nobody writes for the person who is all three.

We are writing for that person. Not because it is a smaller ask, but because it is the harder one: if the tool only works when an expert is driving, it does not work.

What actually goes wrong

The week we are describing

The blank page is the bottleneck, not the typing

Turning 60 pages of policy into a teachable structure is the part that takes days. Once the shape exists, the writing is comparatively quick. Most tools help with the part that was never the problem.

You cannot check what you did not write

A generated course reads fluently whether or not it is right. Without a link back to the source, verifying it means reading the whole policy again, which costs more than writing the course did.

Everything is mandatory and everything is late

Induction, POPIA, health and safety, the new system rollout, and the thing the auditor flagged. All compulsory, all owned by you, none of them optional to postpone.

There is nobody to review it

The person who actually knows whether the content is correct is a manager in another department who does not have a licence for your authoring tool and will not get one.
What Kre8AI does about it

Every one of these is a shipped feature

Nothing on this list is roadmap. Every one of these is in the product today.

A structure to react to, instead of a blank page

Kre8AI reads your documents and proposes the audience, scope and outline with its reasoning visible. You correct it before a single slide is generated. Reacting to a wrong outline is far faster than producing a right one from nothing.

Every slide shows the page it came from

Each generated slide cites the document, page range or video timestamp, the exact excerpt used, and a confidence score. Checking a claim is one click, not a re-read. This is what makes the draft safe for someone who is not a subject expert.

Pull in the person who actually knows

Send any module to a reviewer by magic link. They comment or approve in the browser with no account and no licence. You get the expert's judgement without getting them a seat.

Nothing publishes until you say so

Publishing stays locked until every module is approved, and the audit trail records every AI-assisted and human action. If anyone asks how the course was made, the answer is a record rather than a memory.

When the policy changes, regenerate the version

Upload the revised document and generate a new course version with the review trail intact, rather than hunting for every slide that mentioned the old rule.
Straight answers

What this audience asks us first

I am not a qualified instructional designer. Will this expose that?
The opposite is the design intent. The outline arrives with its reasoning visible, so you can see why it proposed that sequence and change it. Every course also exports an instructional design pack documenting objectives, module structure and assessment mapping, which is the documentation a formally trained designer would produce.
How do I know it is not making things up?
Generation is grounded in the documents you uploaded, and each slide cites the passage it was written from with a confidence score. Content the source does not support does not get written. You are checking a citation, not trusting a model.
I genuinely have nobody to review my work.
Then use magic-link review to get thirty minutes from the manager who owns the subject. They do not need an account or a licence. That is usually the difference between a course that is defensible and one that is merely finished.
What happens if I disagree with what it produced?
You edit it, or you regenerate a single slide without disturbing the rest. The outline gate exists so that most disagreements happen before generation, when they are cheap to fix.
