Build AI courses for Docebo

Docebo is strong at delivering and reporting on training and does not pretend to write it for you. Kre8AI writes the first draft from your documents, routes it through review, and hands Docebo a SCORM package to deliver.

Docebo reads: SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI, cmi5 and AICC as training material types.
Step one

Build the course, then export it

The course is built from your own documents and cannot be published until a person has approved it. What you end up with is a single zip file.

    Finish review and approve every module

    Publishing stays locked until each module is approved. That is deliberate: the export is the point where the course stops being a draft, and the audit trail records who approved what and when.

    Choose your package format

    SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 4th edition, xAPI, cmi5, or a standalone HTML file that runs with no platform at all.

    Download the zip

    One file, containing the course, its media, the manifest your LMS reads and the tracking bridge that reports progress back.

    Do not unzip it and do not rezip the extracted folder. An LMS reads the manifest at the root of the archive, and rezipping usually buries it one directory down.

Which format for Docebo

SCORM 1.2 for the widest compatibility. Choose SCORM 2004 4th edition if you want the finer-grained completion states in your Docebo reports.

xAPI and cmi5 ship as packaging. The player wires the SCORM tracking bridge rather than streaming live statements to an LRS, so if your reporting depends on a live statement flow, raise it before you start.

Step two

Import it into Docebo

The same package works in every platform that reads SCORM. These are the steps in Docebo's own vocabulary.

    Open the course in Course Management

    Go to Course Management and open the course you want the material in, or create one first.

    Go to the Training Material tab

    Training material is what Docebo calls the content inside a course. A Kre8AI export becomes one item in that list.

    Add training material of type SCORM

    Add new training material and choose the SCORM package type rather than a file or a video.

    Upload the zip and wait for it to process

    Docebo unpacks the archive and reads the manifest. A narrated course with generated media takes a moment; let it finish before you open it.

    Set the completion rule

    Decide what counts as completion for this item, and make sure it matches what you report to the business. This is where a compliance report either means something or does not.

Which source document and page each statement came from, the excerpt behind it, a confidence score, who approved each module and every AI-assisted action. An LMS proves somebody completed training. This proves the training was right.

Before you roll it out

What catches people out in Docebo

Published is a separate decision

Adding training material does not put a course in front of anyone. Enrolment and publication are their own steps in Docebo, and forgetting them looks exactly like a broken import.

Completion rules stack

Docebo can set completion at the material level and at the course level. If your report looks wrong, the two are usually disagreeing rather than the package misreporting.

Reports show delivery, not provenance

Docebo will tell you who completed the course and what they scored. The citation behind each slide, the approval record and the audit trail live in Kre8AI, which is what you need when somebody asks where a statement came from.

Does Kre8AI integrate directly with Docebo?
The route described on this page is the package route: Kre8AI exports SCORM and Docebo imports it. It needs nothing configured between the two systems and it keeps your content portable, which is why it stays a first-class option rather than a fallback.
Can Docebo's own AI not do this?
Docebo has added AI features around content. The difference worth testing is not speed but whether you can check the output: whether each statement carries the source document and page it came from, and whether publishing is blocked until a person approves it. Ask us for a course built from your own policy and compare.
What happens when the source policy changes?
You regenerate the affected material in Kre8AI and export a new package, then replace the training material in Docebo. Because every slide records the source page it came from, finding what a policy change actually affects does not mean rereading the whole course.
