Written for the workplace, not for the statute book alone
Workplaces need everyone to know how to get help, and a smaller set of people with current first-aid certificates. This course is only the first of those jobs. The disclaimer is repeated in the lede, the modules, and the assessment on purpose.
Learners practise calling, fetching a first-aider, and not making the scene worse. CPR ratios and invasive care stay with certified training and current public resuscitation guidance — and only if that guidance is licensed for educational reuse.
Pair with COIDA injury reporting and fire/emergency titles. Do not merge them into one “safety dump”. Graphic imagery is unnecessary for awareness.
