Environmental training is often a policy PDF and a recycling poster. Incidents still start with someone washing paint into a drain or mixing waste to “make space”. This course is duty of care as behaviour: stop, report, use the labelled stream, don’t improvise.
Office and warehouse learners both get examples. Cleaning chemicals, printer waste, and contractor paint work are in scope. Plant-heavy employers should add site modules after this baseline rather than forcing a single overloaded deck.
It is not an EIA practitioner course and not a copy of SANS environmental standards. Spill-kit steps follow your SOP; if you have no SOP, the course tells people to raise the alarm rather than invent chemistry.
