Written for the workplace, not for the statute book alone
Work driving is often treated as commuting with a fuel card. It is still workplace risk: fatigue after a site visit, phones on the N1, an unlicensed driver in a pool car. This course sets the rules as work rules.
Learners run a simple pre-trip picture: licence, lights and tyres, fitness, journey. Supervisors learn that “we needed it there today” is not a reason to wave through a known risk. Personal vehicles used for work are in scope because the public does not care who owns the car.
It does not replace a driving licence, defensive-driving certification, or specialised vehicle training. Pair with fatigue and wellbeing where hours on the road are long.
