Topics inside this course
Awareness and induction depth — not an accredited occupational qualification.
- Why customers and licences care about B-BBEE
- The scorecard elements in one picture
- Fronting: sham jobs and paper structures
- Skills and supplier data you may be asked to provide
- This is not Employment Equity and not a SETA course
Built for the people who take the training
South African employees who complete supplier forms, host ESD candidates, or get asked for skills evidence — not verification practitioners.
What learners leave able to do
- Explain B-BBEE at a staff level without pretending to be a verification analyst
- Recognise fronting and refuse to participate
- Complete legitimate skills and supplier information requests honestly
- Avoid treating this module as a scorecard or a personal points promise
Modules you can expect
Structure may tighten when you localise from your own source pack in Kre8AI — this is the shape of the library title.
- 1Why this shows up at your desk
Customers, licences and reporting.
- 2The elements, briefly
Ownership through SED — recognition, not calculation.
- 3Fronting
What you must not agree to.
- 4Data requests
Skills, suppliers, ESD — complete them honestly.
- 5Knowledge check
Short scored assessment.
Short scored assessment. Not verification training and not a promise of scorecard outcomes.
Written for the workplace, not for the statute book alone
B-BBEE is often either a specialist’s spreadsheet or a political argument. Staff still get asked to host a learner, sign a supplier affidavit, or explain a job title that does not match the work. This course is the staff layer: purpose, elements at a glance, fronting, and honest data.
Fronting gets plain examples: a title without authority, a supplier that exists only on letterhead, a rotation that is theatre. Learners are told to refuse and escalate, not to “help transformation” by lying.
It will not teach you to complete a verification file or calculate a score. It will not conflate Employment Equity numerical targets with B-BBEE management control. Those are sibling courses.
Generate from the Act, DTIC overview, and your FAQ in Kre8AI. Export as SCORM or HTML. Re-export when your recognition level or internal FAQ changes — not every time a verification agency sends a new template.
Pair with skills-development WSP awareness so people understand why attendance evidence is collected. Keep verification with the transformation office.
